Una and Ken Macgregor would like to welcome you to Tigh Uisdean Bed and Breakfast.
Tigh Uisdean was built last year on the croft which has been in our family for generations . It is named after our grandfather Hugh (Uisdean) who lived and worked the land here in the early 20th century.
We are situated in Polglass, one of the villages of Achiltibuie on the Coigach Peninsula in Wester Ross, an area of exceptional beauty with dramatic landscapes renowned for its peace and tranquility.
We invite you to relax and enjoy our comfortable home at this lovely location with its stunning views over Lochbroom and the Summer Isles to the Dundonnell and Torridon Mountain ranges beyond. Watch the scenery, wildlife and passing boats from the telescope in the sunlounge.
Tigh Uisdean is in easy walking distance of Achiltibuie village facilities including The Summer Isles Hotel, the Community Hall with local Artists Gallery, The Piping School Cafe and Achiltibuie Garden. The Achiltibuie Stores, Coigach Craft Shop and Am Fuaran Bar are a short drive away.
Coigach is a perfect area for leisure pursuits including hill walking, climbing, fishing, sailing, kayaking and birdwatching. Brown Trout fishing and sea angling are available and a trip to the Summer Isles is highly recommended.
